Design Process
Contextual Inquiry
Interview with project stakeholders and Autism Collaborative Center employees were completed. Information on scope and scale, as well as organizational structure was gathered. The following deliverables were created to communicate the interpretation of these interview with the client.
Personas & Persona Mapping
During interviews, information regarding various audience types and their respective goals was discussed. Following these interviews, personas were created to represent these people, their backgrounds and goals. These personas were then used in an interactive "Persona Mapping Game" in which project stakeholders determined the primary, secondary and tertiary personas. The architecture and design of the site would influenced by this decision.
Site Architecture
The site architecture was determined to better understand the flow of information and hierarchical structure of content on the website.
Wireframes
Wireframes were used to determine placement of elements on the page, the relationship these elements have with one another and the unique interactions that give the user access to information.
