Right or Wrong? The Simple Answer MARCH 12 2008

In art, there is never a definitive right or wrong. There may be solutions that are more right or more wrong than others. I believe, however, the mark of a great designer resides in her ability to persuade the audience that her design is the one and only correct answer. In my opinion, this is most successfully accomplished with a marriage of creativity and simplicity. Often times, it is this simplicity that requires the most refinement, and which will ultimately convince us of its status as the one correct answer.

Well, I've decided to turn to the dark side and continue snowboarding. I LOVE IT! My skiing blood runs thick however, as I will never understand why snowboarders feel the need to squat all over the hill. These ghosts, as my dad would call them, make learning to snowboard very tricky. Thankfully, it doesn't take too long before you're off those bunny slopes and on to the treacherous "black diamonds" of Mt. Holly, Michigan. West anyone?

I am so anxious for snow! After 22 winter seasons of skiing, I am dying to pick up another sport. Despite what was most likely a concussion during the last snowboarding attempt, I am ready to give it another go. Any helmet suggestions?
