Hello!
Welcome to the design studio of Adrienne Klum. I am a graphic and web designer with a passion for content-driven design. My work has been recognized for its visually clean and simplified structure. With each project, I build upon that structure to create a fresh, conceptually solid design. In short, I view myself as an organizer of space and concept.
My latest design interests involve Modern Web Standards. By separating content, presentation and behavior, we are able to build websites in an extremely efficient, accessible, cost effective and user-friendly way. As I continue to develop my skills in Web Standards, I can see the benefits for my work and my clients continue to grow. To learn more about Web Standards and my design philosophy in general, go here.
I believe successful design depends on a cooperative relationship between the designer and the client. If you are ready to discuss a potential project, please fill out my project sheet, which will give us both a better idea of your goals.
I am always looking to connect with likeminded people, and comments about my website and work are always welcome. Just want to say hi? Please do not hesitate to contact me.

Right or Wrong?
The Simple Answer
In art, there is never a definitive right or wrong. There may be solutions that are more right or more wrong than others. I believe, however, the mark of a great designer resides in her ability to persuade the audience that her design is the one and only correct answer. In my opinion, this is most successfully accomplished with a marriage of creativity and simplicity. Often times, it is this simplicity that requires the most refinement, and which will ultimately convince us of its status as the one correct answer.
"But your legs are stuck together!"
Well, I've decided to turn to the dark side and continue snowboarding. I LOVE IT! My skiing blood runs thick however, as I will never understand why snowboarders feel the need to squat all over the hill. These ghosts, as my dad would call them, make learning to snowboard very tricky. Thankfully, it doesn't take too long before you're off those bunny slopes and on to the treacherous "black diamonds" of Mt. Holly, Michigan. West anyone?
